Pros

The company truly lives and breathes its values, creating a strong sense of purpose in your day-to-day. Butternut genuinely care about their employees and offer fab work perks like socials, Vitality benefits, dental care, and great mat/paternity leave. We also have multiple dogs in the office which is a HUGE win!!! The team is made up of lovely, like-minded, and supportive people who make coming to work exciting as we're all striving for the same goal.

Cons

I (personally) wouldn't say this is a con, but working at Butternut is definitely a fast-paced environment and very much a "work hard, play hard" culture, which might not suit everyone. You'll need to be prepared to work hard to see rapid personal development and growth. For some people, a fast-paced environment can sometimes feel overwhelming, so not sure this would be the right business for you if so!

Pros

*Brilliant people. I've made friends for life. Opportunity to work with really intelligent, hard working individuals. *Beautiful new office in west London. *Dog food *Good flexibility and support for new parents

Cons

I would say that a lot is asked of you from day 1. You have a lot of responsibility early doors so keep this in mind if you are looking for a 'cushy' job. At times, it can be really demanding as we are growing quickly - it's never boring though!

Pros

- Working alongside the brightest people across all teams, extremely dedicated to growing the business and looking after our customers. - Extremely values focussed organisation, where people behaving in line with the values are rewarded and progress to senior positions. - Interesting and challenging work, with a lot of variety on a day to day basis, all driving towards one goals: feeding more happy & healthy dogs (and now cats too!) - For the first time in my career, I get out of bed and feel excited to come in and see my brilliant colleagues and get stuck into what ever the day holds - it feels too good to be true. - Leadership & People team are extremely supportive and caring, for example when they know an employee is having a tough time outside of work, doing everything they can to protect team members and be flexible if it helps.

Cons

- Not a 'con' per se, but the business and leadership have high (rightly) expectations of every single person in the squad, this means work can be intense - genuinely not to be read as long hours / bad culture, but you'll need to be stretching yourself to do better every day.
