Culture is gone, mission is still good

Pros

- Very good product - Dogs

Cons

Since the push for profitability started the company has completely abandoned the culture it *used* to nurture. Gone are the days of kindness, and togetherness, where knowing how people are doing on a personal level was viewed as vital. Instead, you get a toxic environment at the office. Extremely pushy senior management. Everyone is stressed. They have also started to warn people that if they don't go into the office they won't get promoted.

Pros

I feel like part of a team, and a damn good one at that. The hard work I do is recognised and commended, which feels nice. I genuinely feel like I’m making a difference, helping pet parents feed their dogs the best food around. In two years, I went from ambassador to regional manager, so climbing the ladder is possible at Butternut. Because of the quality of my colleagues, I feel like I’ve become a better co-worker and more efficient person.

Cons

You have to be flexible, creative and efficient at Butternut, it’s a fast-paced place with loads of super bright people - so be ready. Flexibility and creativity is a must, be willing to adapt and react daily to new scenarios. Overcoming challenges and meeting deadlines is paramount.
