Great employee benefits/discounts and it can be a fun work environment for young adults.

Cons

The leadership was rough at times. Everything would go from calm to yelling with the flip of a switch. There was a lot of push for sales performance which was understandable, but pushing credit card applications on patrons always rubbed me a little wrong.

-Supportive and responsive employer -Online training -Friendly staff -Flexible Schedule -Most customers who shop here are easy to work with -Employee discount on merchandise

Cons

-Cleaning up after customers and/or animals (C-A-L Ranch sells baby chicks that staff must care for, and customers are allowed to bring in their pets) -The occasional abrasive customer (all retail jobs have them) -No first day orientation: employees must familiarize themselves with the store on their own, and managers will likely expect them to know where things are, even on day one.
