Cons
The wages are insultingly low. A company that makes thousands of dollars for each student, pays employees $40,000 a year and that is it. I work in a VERY expensive area in NJ and yet I am paid the same as someone in Wisconsin. So low that you get overtime if you work over 40 hours but don't worry they never let that happen they make you take hour long lunches so they aren't forced to ever give you a dime over salary. Management is immature and incompetent. I watched HR dodge someone for months, asking for a well-deserved raise. They finally told her they don't give raises and they have cut all commission since Covid and will not bring that back either. They actually threatened an employee who attempted to discuss salary and wages with her fellow employees in violation of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). The health insurance is cost prohibitive given the extremely low salaries so most are on Obamacare (again while parents pay $2,000 a month for tutoring). There is no career growth and there only hire from outside (never seen anyone get promoted that actually worked there).
