      Pros

      Pay starts at $20 an hour, which ain't much, but if you stick around and do a good job, you can push for a pay raise above and beyond the tiny bi-yearly increase. The training is lacking, but you can learn to be a great tutor by learning from other teachers, reviewing the materials, and doing independent research. The kids are great, and most are highly motivated and take direction well. The job is fun and the hours are flexible.

      Cons

      Upper management (not the Center Directors or Administration/Sales Staff that run the center, but the higher-ups in Corporate) is like that of so many other corporations: They press the sales team hard and are always raising the bar of expectation in terms of monthly revenue. This winds up driving the sales team a bit mad at times. But none of this affects the tutors; management at the center is warm, inviting, and open to helping with your questions and concerns. It's a nice work culture to be a part of.
