Pros

To be honest: None when compared to other tutoring centers.

Cons

It really is about politics and appeasing clients. Education is the last thing that comes to mind.

Pros

Easy hire, short training time and there are many materials available for teaching sessions and they are very organized in filing this material. The people are nice and the facilities are well put together.

Cons

Unorganized in scheduling- sometimes do not know if I am working until the day of. They schedule very last minute which makes the work week very unstable. After doing my own research on the company, I've come to a conclusion that this company focuses a lot on the business aspect of the company over the students. The families pay a lot for the tutoring yet they pay the tutors a very small percentage of that price. The 1:3 teacher to student ratio is good in theory, but since each of the three students could be there for completely different subjects, it becomes very inconsistent and exhausting.

We appreciate your feedback and are pleased to know that the amount of training and materials meet your needs. We agree that our caring and knowledgeable staff and organized teaching environments are among the best! C2's philosophy is to focus on the individual needs of each student. The 3:1 student to teacher ratio ensures that the teacher provides tailored and interactive instruction while providing an environment in which no student is ever being given a cookie-cutter lecture. We aim to schedule student sessions based on the availability of each teacher along with the subjects they teach as best as possible. Ultimately, we depend on the schedules of our students and while we work to be as consistent as possible, our students’ needs come first. We just rolled out a brand new Teacher Development Initiative that provides teachers with different ways for them to increase their pay while also providing them with opportunities to grow and develop with C2. I invite you to participate in this exciting new program and appreciate all that you do for our students.
