Pros

You work closely with students to give try em that extra help they need! Seeing students improve in education is so rewarding! If you love education this a best place to START your career.

Cons

Pay lacks very much. They tend to hire EC part time and share those part time hours with another EC because your hours don’t work on certain days or because another EC from another center wants more hours. So from 24 you are pretty much down to half of the 24. They pay very little for someone part time. Very sales driven. All they care are about is making budget. How to make money, which in my opinion is not about education. If they truly cared about education they would of been a non-profit Or make their packages affordable for everyone instead of convincing families to get a loan “payment plan”. Budgets tend to be $30k and up a month which is insane. But yet they can’t pay their EC who does everything and all the leg work a bit more hourly. Plus they require EC to have bachelors degrees but pay less than $18 an hour PART TIME. ECs do so much for a center and they aren’t really much appreciated or even given better pays. Wait the best part is they don’t like you working at another job when you are working for them. They want loyalty but yet they pay very little and give very little hours. How do you expect them not to have a real job and have C2 as a side extra money gig. To be honest, part time EC at C2 is a side extra money gig. You can’t make a living working there ONLY. Teachers make more than ECs and they don’t do half of what ECs do. I wouldn’t even recommend fulltime EC either you work 1pm-9:15pm every Monday to Thursday and Saturdays 9-5pm. You have no life as full time you still get that hourly rate of max$18 an hour, so you are making less than $36,000 a year. NOT WORTH IT! Won’t have a life because you’re working all day until 9pm. So I wouldn’t recommend if you want a life or have a family or want to enjoy life! Honestly, I feel bad for Center Directors they are so much pressured to make budget and sell parents a $8k to $11k tutoring package. When I worked along my CD I was so happy I wasn’t in her place. I rather take that little pay check than be in her place. Center Directors don’t even make decisions without going through District Managers so they are pretty much sales man with a fancy title. They are always are seen little than when they can’t make budget. DM will even push CD when not hitting budget and required to work extra hours to make the budget. It’s sad. Once you do hut your budget after convincing and chasing parents. The month is over and you gotta do the same thing all over again. So run if you can! JUST SALES

Pros

- None that I can think of. Oh, discount on your own children if you enroll them there.

Cons

Way too many to count. Unfair practices; out of date materials; no HR in place; numerous DLLR violations. Let me count the ways. Director was a complete narcissist. How she is still currently working there blows my mind. Her incompetence in managing employees is close to how a five-year old would deal with problem-solving in the workplace. Lack of communication with employees; never formally let go however it was made clear that I was not to return.

Pros

The primary benefits of this position were working with the students and teachers. Unlike other reviews here, management in my region was very nice but still very sales focused. There is a great capacity to make good money in bonuses.

Cons

* Even with recent efforts, education is not what is at the core of the company. * High stress * Terrible work-life balance, expect to work around 50+ hours per week, was hardly ever able to take vacation time * Unresponsive, and sometimes very rude, corporate team
