Pros
CADC LLC does what they do well - direct voter contact. This is a great opportunity to learn campaign work quickly and if you enjoy/excel at campaign work, CADC LLC almost always promotes from within. There is the opportunity for advancement but it is not guaranteed. If you include overtime pay (being hourly instead of salaried) and paid breaks, CADC LLC compensates field organizers and field directors better than many other similar organizations/companies. A lot of organizing is volunteer work - get paid to make the impact you're passionate about! CADC LLC works on many different progressive campaigns.
Cons
Like all campaign work, the hours can be grueling closer to the campaign and the short-term nature of the work means that there are not some of the benefits that come with a more traditional, long-term position. Given the fast-paced, deadline-oriented, goal-driven, and constantly changing nature of the work this can be a challenging or stressful job and is best for someone willing to embrace those aspects and who does not have a lot of personal/health demands during the last two months of any campaign. Work can be unpredictable, upper management will try to communicate with you changes quickly and anticipate them as much as possible, but you need to be prepared to change quickly.
