Pros

The salary was pretty decent.

Cons

Terrible communication with leaders, kept in the dark about relevant issues that might affect your job, not a loyal company to it's dedicated employees. I would not recommend getting aboard a sinking ship with financial trouble.

Pros

Coworkers were pretty nice and tended to help whenever you had issues.

Cons

If you like getting underpaid little to nothing to do the job of multiple people, then you are in the right spot. There were multiple meetings talking about the company looking for better work conditions and "changes" being made to help with the burnt-out employees there. The managers will even sit employees down and ask what changes you would like to see to make the company better, in reality they do not care about how the employees feel and or their input and will just gas light you. I truly believe HR was just forcing them to ask employees what they can do to keep people working there due to them not being able to retain them. Job security in this role is horrible and the contractor can decide to lay you off whenever they feel necessary. Please if you are going to post a position claiming the company will train the employee on CompTIA certifications and confirm it during the interview do not tell them it is not a thing anymore or that they posted the wrong job listing once they start working for the company. You also will be ensuring that the tolls are operational 24/7 to bring in BILLIONS of revenue for the state of Florida but the company forces you to pay OUT OF POCKET from your paychecks for the tolls you have to take to get to and from this work location. In all the job was repetitive and you can pick up on it easy, but definitely is not a long-term position. "Get in and get out" was a term used often at this employer.

Thank you for sharing feedback about your experience. It saddens us to hear that it did not live up to expectations. We use input like yours to continuously evaluate processes and improve upon them where necessary. We listen out for what could be adjusted to make for a better employee experience and we are disappointed to learn that our efforts were ill-perceived. Your concerns have been escalated to upper management. We provide a positive work-from-anywhere environment that professionally develops our employees with a strong focus on work-life balance—educational opportunities and certifications are part of that process. We also reimburse for work-related travel, lodging, and food expenses. Thank you again for taking the time to provide a detailed review.

Pros

Flexibility, great work/life balance, diverse leadership at CAI only.

Cons

Super low pay as a lead so low I can barely afford rent. The recent structure changes made within CAI have been detrimental. Initially, I decided to come on as a new employee because I loved CAI’s mission but now I cannot foresee a positive outcome in the future. The HR person assigned to my team is condescending, unsupportive, and quite frankly a rude liar. I’ve dealt with micro aggression from a select few within CAI and with the client I work with. The client associates are underhanded and leadership seriously lacks diversity. The client does not appreciate authenticity, diversity, or difference which could benefit them greatly with their high turn over. Within CAI there is minimal organization and a lot of pushback when new ideas or suggestions are presented. No PTO offered for hourly employees and there’s no plan in place for career advancement.

Thank you for your sharing feedback. We are disappointed to hear that it did not live up to your expectations. We appreciate to know that our mission and purpose interested you to join the team. Our culture is centered on our people to be their authentic selves which you have rightfully pointed out. Unfortunately, you do not see that within the client you oversee operations for—we encourage you to discuss this with your manager. Further, you expressed concerns about your HR partner. Please know that we have escalated your comment and will look more into the conflicts. Like our open-door policy states, openness and honesty are expected so that we can quickly address and resolve issues for a more trusting environment. If you have not had internal conversations, please reach out to your manager or escalate to upper management.
