The job is easy and doesn't require much effort.

Cons

The pay is low, it's a dead end job, management acts slow. Hours aren't good either. You will have to work every Saturday if that's how your schedule is set up.

The Call Transfer Agent position you held is an entry level position, and as such compensation is lower than other positions in the company. Since it is a lower paying position, Call Transfer Agents participate in a weekly bonus program that can add up to 50% more per hour in your base compensation. In addition, the bonus program has added the element of friendly competition and has driven great success for our Agents that strive for excellence and have the ambition to be a leader within their team. Internal growth is also something that CARCHEX prides itself on. When business opportunities are available and positions are either created or become vacant, we are sure to share those opportunities with our internal team to give all interested parties the chance to apply and learn more. We routinely move successful Call Transfer Agents to higher paying (and greater responsibility) positions in customer service, sales and administration. You mentioned that “you will have to work every Saturday if that’s how your schedule is set up”. You are absolutely correct. CARCHEX offers a variety of scheduling options to our Call Transfer team. If an Agent selects a schedule that has Saturday work hours, you are correct in that you will be expected to work the selected schedule to meet your scheduling requirements. However, Agents are encouraged to work with their management team if issues with scheduling occur and a short-term or long-term solution is needed. It is our goal to work with and support our team, not to frustrate them! Fun work environment , free lunches, plenty of sales competitions to win even if you don’t make bonus, tons of help.

Cons

Sometimes the quota changes , so you always need to be on your a-game. Don’t waste time.
