It's a career, not a job.
Pros
I started at CarChex in May of 2014, so, I'll be celebrating my one year anniversary next month. I truly do feel like this place has given me a career and not just a job. I've been a sales professional for most of my post college life and I've yet to come across a place that has the type of environment that we do here. I get to work out with a trainer 3 times a week, massages are available if I want them, and so is yoga. My schedule is flexible for the most part and I'm allowed to have a life outside of work, which is huge for me. I work hard here because I reaped the benefits from the start. Money is good. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say that, but, it's the truth. We make a lot of money on the sales floor. I was able to buy a new car 6 months after working here, I have a substantial savings account, and a lifestyle that reflects the hard work I put into it. If you produce, you get paid. That's it. This is sales and it's fun. We laugh, we have a good time, and we grind hard. I believe in what we sell and I love the people I work with and for. As a company we are growing, being in at the ground level is really exciting and advancement as an individual within the company comes regularly. I love what I do here. End of story.
Cons
Not sure if these are cons or just facts that some people may not like. We work hard and spend a lot of time on the phone. This is phone sales...so it's expected. If you don't produce we have sales coaches and team leaders that will work with you and help you to do so. If you still can't produce then it's probably not a good fit anyway. I'm not sure what else to say...things are solid here.
