A great place to grow and learn

Great work life balance - you can turn off your brain after leaving if that's the kind of person you are and not worry about overtime. Relaxed atmosphere that supports learning, growth, expression and having a good time in addition to hard work. Dogs are allowed, free lunch on fridays, a wonderful amount of vacation time and great benefits.

Cons

Flat company is not flat and is certainly not a meritocracy. The flatness is an illusion to make compensation and status even more opaque and confusing. There is no apparent rhyme or reason to who is regarded as senior or not but tenure is far more important than skill or contribution.

Market leader with a very solid, stable, business plan Smart, energetic co-workers in every part of the organization Talent is rewarded, not service time Great work/life balance Yearly individual training/conference budget Lunch catered on Fridays

Cons

IHS acquisition slowly, but noticeably, impacting culture. Flat engineering organization means limited career advancement opportunities Growing pains attempting to build engineering teams outside of Columbia, MO
