Pros
This was a great place to work to get a foundation on what it takes to be a divisional controller. I had the opportunity to learn how to manage the monthly financials, close the books for my group, and roll the information up to corporate. I also was a key member of the management group in Salt Lake, and had a lot of opportunity to lead and direct not just my team, but the entire office. It was a great place to get a good foundation for the rest of my carrer
Cons
The best way I can describe working for CBIZ is summed up in the phrase "we've always done it that way". This is a low to negative growth firm, that just seems stuck in the 80's and 90's, with no thought for the future. I expect that the Salt Lake office, in the next few years, will be closing their doors for good. Also their is little to no room for growth, so the only way up is out.
