      Great place to work if you value your time.

      Pros

      The work-life balance is really good, even in busy season. There is significant support from management that allows us to do our jobs well. The range of clients is excellent, from SEC filers and for-profit companies, to interesting Agreed-Upon-Procedures, to government and non-profit agengies. The company is big, but it still has a small company feel to it.

      Cons

      Employees are saddled with footing the cost of expenses for weeks. This amounts to an interest free loan to the company at our expense, as we lose the ability to use that money.

      Pros

      Great place to learn and grow your capabilities as a professional. Given that CBIZ MHM is a reletively young professional services firm, the Company has made great strides in the industry. It is currently the 7th largest professional services firm in the US and continues to grow rapidly. The Company's youth and rapid growth provides opportunities for individuals to step up and make a difference at any level within the organization. This is especially attractive for young professionals with a desire to advance rapidly. Though larger firm, such as the Big 4, have better name recognition, they do not provide the entreprenurial opportunities that CBIZ MHM does.

      Pros

      I worked at the CBIZ Payroll office in VA. It was one of the most positive employment experiences I have ever had. I was recognized and rewarded for my contributions, the pay was more than fair for the amount of work and responsibility I had, and the management always kept us informed of anything we needed to know and was responsive to my questions and concerns. Can't say enough good about it. I only left due to relocating out of area, but I already miss it and wish that there was an office close enough to my new location for me to have stayed on with them.

      Cons

      I didn't feel very challenged by the work after awhile, but that's typical if you don't advance. There also wasn't much opportunity for advancement, which I think was more affected by the economic climate.
