      Pros

      CBRE is a good company to start out at and job security is quite high.

      Cons

      The career path is very linear and slow paced unless you are fast-tracked. The pay is much lower and the hours required are much higher. Hard work is not respected, only being a part of a successful business line.

      Best training for recent college graduates or those looking to break into the commercial real estate industry Best in the industry training for associates (brokerage) Great managers for entry level associates

      Cons

      Long term career looks bleak due to nepotism and dominance of top brokers. Many mid-level brokers get treated unjustly and pushed out of deals that they have worked on for months/years and are rightfully theirs due to a Vice Chairman+ level broker edging their way in. Management often considers the production levels of individuals more so than the facts of the situation in internal conflict cases.

      PTO was good, location was excellent, provided public transportation at 100%

      BEWARE - SERIOUSLY. They talk a good game, suck you in, but on the inside that is not the case. Their value is RISE R=Respect. I=Integrity (not true). Communication is bad. No policies and procedures: it hasn't been for more than 7 years.
