Pros

The People: I walked away with genuine, lasting friendships. There are some incredible individuals in the trenches who make the day-to-day bearable. The Perks: You’ll get a free t-shirt every now and again. (Though, unfortunately, you can’t pay rent with cotton blends.)

Cons

Toxic Culture: The environment is defined by a blatant "boys' club" mentality. If you aren’t part of the inner circle, don’t expect your voice to be heard or your contributions to be valued. Zero Accountability: Leadership seems more interested in protecting the status quo than addressing internal issues. Mistakes are deflected, and there is no mechanism for holding management accountable for their behavior or performance. Stagnant Support: The company has fallen lightyears behind the industry standard for employee support. There is little to no investment in professional development, mental health, or modern workplace flexibility. Low Compensation: The pay bands are significantly below market value. You are expected to provide high level output for "budget" wages, with no clear path for raises that keep up with inflation, let alone your actual worth.

Pros

Pay is solid for the actual workload we handle. Benefits are above average, especially compared to similar contract roles. A couple of great managers (Maintenance Manager and Front Half Nights) who actually care, communicate, and lead by example. The job can be laid-back when the warehouse is running smoothly — plenty of downtime when things don’t break.

Cons

Leadership quality overall is poor. Most managers are uncoordinated, unmotivated, and bring unnecessary politics and attitude into the workplace. The culture has turned toxic — people constantly stepping on each other to look good while still doing the bare minimum. Unfortunately, this includes some in leadership. Growth opportunities are basically nonexistent. Promotions feel predetermined before interviews even begin, with the same few “favorites” always getting the nod. Heavy favoritism: a select few techs get all the chances to work on complex systems or handle meaningful projects, while the rest are left doing repetitive grunt work. Retaliation exists. If you speak up or challenge a decision, expect to be sidelined or assigned to unpleasant tasks soon after. Safety culture is extremely relaxed. A lot goes unreported, and risky shortcuts are often ignored as long as production keeps moving. It makes the job easier but it’s not the standard CBRE or Amazon claim to uphold. Operations team often lacks basic understanding of equipment and reliability, which makes coordination frustrating — like trying to explain to kids why their toy broke.

Pros

- You’ll leave with great stories for future interviews about what not to tolerate in a workplace. - If you enjoy watching nepotism in action, this is basically a masterclass. - Leaving this company will be the best decision you ever make.

Cons

- Toxic atmosphere: If you enjoy walking on eggshells and watching brokers bully employees without consequence, you'll love it here. Otherwise, prepare for daily anxiety. - Micromanagement: You can expect management to hover over your shoulder like a nosy ghost, questioning every breath you take while contributing zero solutions. - Abysmal pay: The compensation is so low it's almost insulting. You’ll make more at an entry-level retail job without the psychological damage. - Nepotism galore: Promotions and opportunities are reserved for friends and family of higher-ups, regardless of competence. Hard work gets you nowhere unless you share DNA with the boss. - Terrible management: The leadership team is disorganized, lacks vision, and thrives on drama and favoritism. Communication is nonexistent, and when it happens, it's condescending. - Discrimination -If you value your rights or basic human decency, steer clear.
