      Terrible Management

      They sure are good at not communicating!

      Cons

      Very unprofessional management staff. Never went over new hire paperwork. Never explained what the job required or what the hours would be. Took over a property and it took 3 wks to inform the community. Signed HR paperwork and amazed that the management team doesn’t obey their own rules.

      Pros

      Being at work I feel like I am spending time with family and getting paid for it! My supervisors and managers care about my family and my home life. CCMC cares about the whole person and wants to do want they can in their means to help you maintain a work-life balance. CCMC cares about you pursuing what you care about. We have paid volunteer hours and are given reminders to use them and opportunities to do good. Training is great and always aiming to be better. Opportunities to grow are throughout the company. CCMC wants you to stay and puts in the effort to see that happen. Benefits are great, affordable even for the single parent. What a blessing to come to work and know you are cared for. Our CEO DJ Cole takes the time to know his employees by name. We have several employees who have been here 10+ years and counting. Every transition happens with patience and kindness. If you are allowed to work here do not pass it up.

      Potential to be great, but lack of local support

      Pros

      There is a strong sense of community within the Lifestyle Director team. Support from corporate office when you need it. Depending on staff and community you work at, it can feel very rewarding.

      Cons

      Too many staff members and not enough upper management support for the Colorado market specifically. Not enough in-depth training, and onboarding was messy and training is more of a "throw you in the fire" type of mindset. I'm sure not all people experience this, but my overall experience was not great. Also, they promise promotions from within, but communication and preparation for staff wanting to advance also seems lacking.
