I learned a lot

Pros

You can have a flexible schedule depending on hours you chose to work. You get a lot of real life experience in learning about childhood development and how to patiently work with kids to aid in their behavioral development.

Cons

Sometimes there are inconsistencies in hours due to client not showing up or proper paper work not being completed in time for you to work. There’s not much of a “work culture” since you don’t really work with colleagues. Sometimes teachers don’t understand your role as TSS.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with CCRES. We truly appreciate your feedback regarding our flexible schedules and ability for personal and career growth. As you mentioned, these positions are great for individuals who love working with kids and helping them achieve their full potential with behavioral interventions. CCRES strives to provide the highest level of quality services to the children we serve and you play the most vital role in achieving this goal! Recently with COVID especially, it has been difficult to promote our culture at CCRES in person but we have plans to remedy that. We are working on organizing more events where staff can spend time together with each other and our partners. We also do our best to recognize staff with our payroll raffles, and staff "shout outs' on instagram and facebook. We foster a culture of respect, appreciation, value, integrity, philanthropy and quality in all that we do, in person and virtually.

Our mission of making a difference is important to us and we strive to live that mission.
