Pros

Working as an RBT through CCRES has been a rewarding experience. I genuinely enjoy my role, especially compared to my previous position in an intensive, inpatient, residential autistic placement. The day-to-day work is less stressful and more manageable, which allows me to focus on providing meaningful support to the students I serve. The pay is comparable to other organizations in the field, which is appreciated. I also want to highlight how fantastic the staffing coordinator and HR team are—they are responsive, professional, and truly care. Additionally, I’ve had a very positive experience with the school district where I’m placed. The environment is collaborative, and I feel respected and included as a valued team member.

Cons

The biggest drawback is the limited visibility and support from upper management within the schools. While the coordinator and HR team do a great job, it can sometimes feel like once we’re placed, we’re a bit out of sight and out of mind. A stronger presence from management in our school settings would go a long way in making us feel seen, appreciated, and supported.

Pros

Nothing besides decent pay but doesn’t make up for injuries in the job that will effect me the rest of my life

Cons

Everything. Getting in touch with anyone is impossible. I got injured on the job several times and no one ever addressed those issues. Even when a client who I wasn’t working with threatened me several times.
