      Easygoing and friendly work environment, but no room for growth.

      Pros

      The work environment was friendly all departments were encouraged to work as a team. The salary was very good. You were allowed to work independently and at your own pace.

      Cons

      The downside to the relaxed work environment was lack of a decent appraisal system. There seemed to be little work recognition and the few promotions were solely given at the managerial level. This was the reason I left. Lack of growth potential.

      Pros

      Large knowledge base. Found a couple of good mentors. Learned quite a bit.

      Cons

      When you look up be bureaucracy in the dictionary, they should have a picture of CDM Smith. This place is all about ticking off boxes on a list. Got tired of working my you know what off while everyone around me did the bare minimum. Was underpaid.

      Great people and resources. A wide range of opportunities to get involved with multi discipline projects.

      Cons

      You need to constantly tell your managers how good you are. Praise is given freely but rewards for even superior service are usually just lip service. Change is talked about more than implemented.
