      The merge destroyed the name

      Pros

      Very stable life and career style before CDM merges with Wilbur Smith to form Wilbur Smith.

      Cons

      The merge/acquisition destroyed everything. They closed down a field office which included a lot of PEs and EITs. It actually happened for the benefit of me since my new job had a 30% salary increase. Still, having worked for CDM for four (4) years, it really hurts to see the company going down the hill.

      good benefits and flexible (I can work from home often), but because I have a job that requires a lot of traveling.

      very demanding company, working nights and weekends very often. Management Takes care of numbers more than their employees. Horrible atmosphere at the office. A lot of pressure to meet numbers. A lot of employes burnt out or are about to
