      Pros

      - There is a great knowledge base to draw from - company experts are top notch. - Diverse clientele / projects - while working in the delivery division, one is exposed to industrial, federal, and state government projects. - There is good support from resource management for professional development and personal needs.

      Cons

      As a scientist, I sometimes feel marginalized - internal communications often focus on engineers and rarely mention the achievements of scientific staff. There also seems to be a disconnect between headquarters and the rest of the company (business cards without job titles for staff regularly working in the field - come on!).

      They are really cheap, CDM = "cost does matter" - 5-10-15+ yrs service = severance of only 6 weeks?

      Pros

      They do have some options for work from home for quality of life

      Cons

      Biggest - 4,000+ employees, but only about half , 2,000 or so are "voting" stock holders, they get they make the "coin" and participate in the equity of the company, while the other 2,000 or so employees get screwed, that's fair, huh? If you work long term for them and get "RIF", hope you have a next egg to fall back on because their severance is really cheap.

      Pros

      Great place to start as an entry level engineer and leave after you get your P.E. The company invests in technology and employees have access to working tools.

      Cons

      Typical Corporate environment with bureaucracy. Need to kiss management's ASS to get promoted. You need to keep your mouth shut because you don't want be on "the list". Yes on "the list". Lot of backstabbind. Whenever you ask questions, the management tells you it comes from Corporate...You can work your ass out but your performance will just be "Meet expectations".
