Very high turnover as young engineers/employees went to work for their clients who paid better

It's important that we offer training and development opportunities for employees at all levels of the organization. We must also strive to ensure competitive compensation. Thank you for sharing your feedback. We agree with you that our people are among the best qualities of working at CHA. At CHA we work hard to provide a flexible work environment for our employees. Unfortunately, sometimes, due to tight deadlines or the type of work being performed, flexible work scheduling isn’t always possible. To balance that we offer a generous paid time off program which affords our employees the ability to strike a good balance between work demands and personal responsibilities.

Pros

In my 4 plus years with the company, I worked with some great people in my field on a day-to-day basis.

Cons

Upper management was money hungry for themselves, out of touch, and did not care about you as an employee unless you were a share holder. They do not know the staff or the capabilities of their staff. No bonuses or profit sharing. Small % of upper management were share holders.

Thanks for the honest feedback, I'm sorry to hear that you had such a poor experience. It's important that we see this so we can continue to move towards our aspiration of becoming the best in our industry, including in employee engagement and satisfaction. We've been steadily building our incentive package for our staff and believe that we have a robust total compensation package. We've also developed our Recognition by Design program that highlights individuals and teams who positively impact the organization in large or small ways. This program is very well funded and acts as one form of incentive for employees.
