Full-time engineer, fired after only 3 months
Pros
The automation team seems to be very smart and hardworking - great group of people to work with and learn from. They can be quite vindictive behind the scenes though.
Cons
I was hired on but then fired within only 3 months, which of course is obnoxious when you quit a previous job and plan your entire livelihood around planning to work for CHEP. I was just getting used to the job role & position, it was a brand-new industry for me, and I'm by no means incompetent. Who takes an engineer through an entire interview process, decides they're a good fit for a position over all other candidates, then fires them within 3 months? Brambles/CHEP, apparently. Co-employees and managers are apparently rather vindictive behind the polite facade they put on, as this firing came extremely suddenly for me.
