Pros

As a field employee, you are given a great deal of freedom over your hours. You are somewhat empowered to drive change.

Cons

Your main job as an operations rep is pallet flipping, so be prepared to flip 3000 pallets/week. Some of the things that CHEP has done in the past makes it tough at times to deal with customers. CHEP has changed in a lot of respects in how they do business, but they still do a great many things backwards and illogical.

Pros

There is a constant drive for improvement. Things are always in a constant state of change & challenge. Working at CHEP exposes you to a over 500 000 customers, multiple systems and more opportunity than any other organisation I know.

Cons

CHEP gets people ready to take on bigger and better roles. Sometimes this is outside of CHEP meaning we lose people which is sad.
