Great People. Great Culture. Great Company
Pros
I'm in my seventh year at CHEP now and I have enjoyed every day. The work is interesting and the business has become increasingly more dynamic in this time. The company's culture is excellent. I personally attribute this to the fact that everyone has a voice / is listened to and also due to the fact that all staff play a key role in the company's successes. There is very much a 'team' spirit at CHEP UK and everyone makes the time to support each other no matter whether they are in a field role or the office. Development opportuntiies are very good and the business really is a meritocracy. Talent is recognised and moved through the business. The company surveys it's staff every year to understand their views on all aspects of the work place and the management take concrete action to ensure that the high standards delivered continue. I have actively chosen to stay at CHEP and I am very pleased that I made the decision to join all those years ago!
Cons
The pros significantly exceed the limited amount of cons (I can't actually think of any!). CHEP is also the sort of business which doesn't accept the status quo therefore if you have an idea for improvement the idea will be listened to.
