Cons by far outweigh the pros. I'm not even sure where to start. This is the most deceptive company I ever worked for. They put a bunch of lipstick to make it seem like such an incredible place to work. They pour TONS of money and effort, and manipulating employee surveys to get on the list of Fortune magazine "best places to work", and float around meaningless office catchphrases like "putting people first". If they would just acknowledge that they put money and profit first, and their employees and clients second, then at least everyone would go in with the right expectation. They define the phrase "over promise, under deliver". Here are a few other thoughts. -I swear there are more managers than there are actual employees on the phones. And no one is really sure what they do besides micro manage every aspect of your life and ask you 5 times a day where you are at on goal, and what you are going to finish the week with. They could probably get rid of 70% of mid level managers and it will still function just as well, if not better. -I have seen some of the best employees there have a bad few months, and quickly get put on a "plan"- in which they could be fired at the end of the month if they don't hit goal. ( stress factory). Oh, and your goal typically increases every few months or so, so they carrot is out of your reach more often than not. very demotivating. All of the increased goals would be motivating, if they actually paid you a decent % of commission off of everything you were making the company. (They recently decreased the already low commissions) -They claim "flexible schedule" which basically means you can either choose to get in at 7 and stay til 4, or get in at 8 and stay til 5. You have to beg like a little kid if you want to leave an hour early on a Friday to get an early start to the weekend, even if you are already at goal. -Honestly, it kinda feels like going to daycare rather than work. Endless meaningless meetings where you do nothing but clap for half an hour and bear your testimony on how great CHG is. -Unless you're a perky rah rah person that farts rainbows- you will probably be looking for a new job in 5 months.

This company is a mixed bag for a variety of reasons and your experience will probably depend on what department you work for, which manager and where. The IT department has some people who are good to work with and others not so much. In my time there I worked with development, test, and business analysis. The IT test group has two managers. The reasons for this are never made clear nor when you start are you told what each of them does or who you actually report to. There is a lot of disorganization and micro-management in general in this group. In addition, the company places a moratorium on how long you have to work there (about a year) before you can work remotely. Never ran into this before in other companies in the area and find this to be counter-productive (and not conducive to work/life balance). The company’s website trumpets their awards for being a best place to work. However what I learned is that this only pertains to how the company relates to an employee and often not necessarily how employees relate to each other.
