      Great company on the front lines; very shaky upper management.

      Pros

      Its sales staff is top notch. Great support and feedback throughout the company. Knows how to take care of their customers and really walks the talk when providing excellent service. Middle management is very involved in decision making as they have their fingers on the pulse of the business.

      Cons

      Upper management often speaks out of both sides of its mouth. Strives to be a great place to work and to put people first; unless you're not their "kind" of people. And "their" kind is defined by tows the line, doesn't speak out or speak up. You're required to be a little too kiss-ass rather than a thinker.

      Pros

      The company has a great work/life balance. A lot of attention is given to the employees. I never woke up in the morning dreading to go to work. It is definitely a family friendly environment. Additionally, it is a very open and social place among the sales force. The corporate roles are more professional.

      Cons

      Career advancement is limited unless you are in a sales role. Leadership roles seem to be awarded to those who have proven themselves on the front lines. Consequently, you have lots of operations type people at the top and not strategic thinkers. There is a mantra at CHG among a number of the employees that "We are successful inspite of ourselves". The company has a good business model that is hard to break, but could definitley be more efficient.
