Pros
I am a current employee who has experienced great growth in my career with CHG. Prior to working at CHG, I held management positions in large, public companies, one of which is ranked in the top 5 on Fortune's Best Places to Work. When I read some of the negative reviews about CHG, I wonder where these people have previously worked and how they have constructed a viewpoint that their company should serve them first before the greater good. In my 20+ year career, I have never seen a company care as much about their people as CHG does.
CHG is a business and, like all businesses, has to make decisions around what is best for their growth, profit, position in the market, clients, AND employees. There are a lot of things to consider and just because some of these decisions don't align with your personal or political viewpoints, that doesn't mean the company isn't Putting People First.
I have had the opportunity to work closely with Scott and Leslie, along with the rest of the executive team. They are real, down-to-earth, authentic people. I have seen them anguish over decisions that impact our people. I have witnessed their open-mindedness when new information arises. Sometimes the tough decisions aren't the most popular. I am grateful we have leadership that considers all factors and doesn't resort to the path of least resistance.
If you are a cutthroat, 'claw your way to the top' employee, CHG is not a fit for you. But if you value differences of opinion, enjoy balancing your work and personal life, are passionate about making an impact in a growing organization, and want to work with some of the best people on the planet, you will love working at CHG.
