Great doctors and nurses, they really care about the patients Patient care teams work well together, focus is on getting children better Great mission

Cons

CEO is indecisive and creates a lot of turmoil. It is easy to see that the management team lives in fear of her. All decisions must go through Kim Cripe. Causes delays in every decision. She has big public image and very little visibility in the hospital.

Pros

CHOC has an incredible culture of care for patients, their families and associates. CHOC fosters a positive, teamwork environment. With the opening of the new tower in 2013, there are numerous clinical opportunities available.

Cons

Because we are in a building phase, traffic is sometimes congested, plan your trip to CHOC 15 minutes earlier than scheduled appointment. Associates should use the employee parking shuttle service and avoid crossing at the busy intersections.

Overall mission to take care of children. Employee friendly place to work. They are striving for excellence. I would recommend anyone considering working there.

Cons

As all large organizations, it can take some time to bring about change. The culture of holding on to employees even when they are under performing.
