CHS is in a stable industry. After all, as our new CEO says, we are in agriculture and energy to feed the world. And as the world continues to grow, that demand for food is going to keep growing. The cooperative has large company perks with a small family feel.

Cons

CHS is in an industry which is dependent on commodity markets, which can be a challenge when prices are down.

I've worked here a few years now and I love the culture of CHS! I feel like management listens and there has been positive changes in recent years. We now have dress for your day, mobile work and an overall understanding and flexibility when needed. It feels like I work for small company instead of a Fortune 100 company.

Cons

Company runs lean which means there is always a lot of work to be done.
