      Overworked to the bone

      Pros

      - Coworkers are all struggling together

      Cons

      - they will work you to the bone- sometimes even forcing us to skip meals to work long hours - no encouragement or appreciation - attitude problems all around - lots of drama, lots of yelling, lots of nasty gossip - no one to go to or lean on - you can't trust anyone here. no one's on "your" side if you're not an upper - too much politics - too much gossip - low, low, low pay - they expect you to help other teams but what's in it for you in the end? The other team doesn't appreciate it. So we just end up being forced to help while getting attitude from the other team.

      Pros

      I tried to come up with a pro - could not think of one. ; office located in soma, easy access to bars after work. trust me you will need the alcohol.

      Cons

      hostile work environment ; HR (just one person) is the one who commits the most HR violations ; impotent management ; depressing office environment ; you will work more hours compared to your average startup ; insane turnover rate (i wouldnt stay long either) ; company is going down south fast. i wonder why.

      Pros

      Long lunch hours. That's probably it.

      Cons

      Impatience upper management oblivious to the North American market. Calling non-Koreans "foreigners." Looking down on the local hires compared to the HQ people. Laying off everybody in the Los Angeles office to go to San Francisco and giving everybody only 1 week notice. Absence of a HR department.
