      Good pay, interesting work, lots of different departments and opportunities to learn.

      Cons

      Culture, work-life balance, senior management frequently changes causing a major disconnect and lack of follow-through.

      Pros

      The Winnipeg campus is great. A ton of learning condensed into 7 weeks of training. The staff there are very friendly and helpful. There is a phone app to help learn the 117 signal cards. Different teacher every week. There is a 4 day weekend part way through the 7 weeks that you can go home.

      Cons

      Disorganized at times. Class start times different every week, you have to seek out alot of information. CN doesn't cover alot of safety gear expenses. A portion of the boots cost. We have to buy all outer wear. Such as winter gear, coveralls, overalls.
