      Minimal Training /Support

      Pros

      The majority of people in the home office are great to work with. One office specifically in Shorewood, IL was great to work for.

      Cons

      There is very little training or support when brining in new CSR's. There seemed to be a "sink or swim" atmosphere. The agents are not trained very well in the technology or even some of the policy forms. Also, no upward mobility when working as a CSR with this company unless a sales manager assistant position happens to open up.

      Pros

      The company truly cares for their clients, and has great values. They understand that life is more than just our jobs, while still having high expectations of their employees.

      Cons

      Some would say the location is a negative, being located in central IL, but it is a great place to live and work!

      Pros

      Flexible schedule, pension plan that is decent, ok 401k match. There were some really good people to work with that made up for some of the shortcomings of the company. If you are geared towards six sigma and are half way decent at organizational politics you can thrive at Country.

      Cons

      Very siloed and ineffective waterfall style project management. Very hard to get promoted. Culture become negative since the years that I started.
