warm and friendly atmosphere, solid processes, good office situation, conenient working space, sufficient equipment, satisfactory compensation, comfortable working hours

A good company to work to learn highly professional software development from A to Z with very good processes

Pros

+ You can see and participate in very professional software development with very good software processes + Benefits, including great medical insurance for whole family (at least in Russia) + Highly collaborative atmosphere and culture + Family-like company with almost no politics + Many excellent teams + Very organized and process-oriented, but only processes that actually help are used + Responsive and open management, from bottom to top + Interesting local perks in some offices + Free food in office (vegetarian only), discounts on catering and lunches

Cons

- Not best times for the industry, thus no visible growth and almost no career development - Old technologies are still used (sometimes very very old) - Most of the management was promoted from software developers, not all are really good at this - High learning curve, aging code base with enormous coupling with often low development productivity (possibly not everywhere this is true)

Pros

+ Many opportunities for professional and career growth + Excellent (really!) team, lot to learn from + Very good work conditions + Flexible office hours + Very strong processes

Cons

- Technologies are lagging behind in infrastructure (version control system, bugtracking, etc). - More processes mean more bureaucracy in some places - Not so geeky as modern startups
