Pros

Lots of advancement opportunities, amenities like a restaurant and convenient store in the Salt Lake City office, and coworkers who really care for each other.

Cons

Management changes focus quite often, goals get changed and those goals just so happen to be what monthly bonuses are based on. Also the company tries to focus on retention and employee moral, but the goals don't reflect that at all. The unattainable goals make people feel inadequate when they're giving 110%. Not a good way to boost morale.

Pros

I don't know if there's any pros here. Maybe just that they are big on safety but that's it. Please read my cons I speak nothing but the truth!!

Cons

So many pay cuts, let me be specific. our pay scale it used to be if you drive between 200-260 miles it was a flat rate anyway between $130-150 or somewhere up in that area but now anything over 200 miles is paid .34 cents so if you go to San Diego and do not get a load back because it's slow guess what? Youll make like 80 bucks for that load and work a 12hr shift. Also we used to get paid $12 for drop and hook but now you get zero at most locations. Also we used to get $45 for picking up empty trailers/tanks and hoses from Golden state foods (McDonald's warehouse) but now we only get paid $25 for trailer move and we get zero for picking up a loaded tanks and hoses trailer. That is illegal!!! First of all the trailer is loaded and there is no compensation they expect you to do it for free. Thats slave labor. Let's see what's next they did increase the pay for Vegas runs last year but it only lasted 1 year then they took it away!! Also they gave us another increase of pay called an "equipment move" basically it was a free paid load for picking up a load going out of state that you drop in the yard and another driver takes it that also disappeared after a year!! There is no "pay increase" here at CR England that is ever permanent which is sad. Our pay scale is over 8 years old!!! Also if your going to Vegas that's 240ish miles one way so that pays you like 80 bucks and when you drive back that's another 80 bucks so you only make like $160 for a 12-14 hour shift. Also if theres a backhaul coming out of Vegas they don't pay you any more money because anything over 200 miles is .34 cents. So basically you are better off not getting a backhaul from Vegas because you will make the same amount of money regardless. You are technically bringing back a load for free!! CR England practices slave labor. DO NOT WORK HERE!!
