Pros

For full-timers the pay and benefits were okay, nothing great. Being part of the dedicated Cadbury Adams team meant representing some well know products such as Dentyne, Trident, Halls, and Swedish Fish. Free samples of new products.

Cons

The hand-helds were constantly breaking down and help desk was often not very helpful. The territory kept expanding and we (hourly) employees were not paid for the first and last HOUR of driving even though avg commute times in my locale is 18 minutes. Lots of UNPAID time doing work at home, printing, entering time on Sales Trak, reading/answering emails, and storing away samples shipped to your home. Oh yeah BTW, if you don't have a large garage to store product, displays, and POS don't even apply here.

Pros

-Really good pay for the area, especially for a part-time job -Small benefits package included -You get to talk to a lot of new people

Cons

-Was belittled in front of customers -Manager was brash and harsh with her words, would constantly micro-manage the team -The employees were not made aware of changes in how things were run, such as adding "runners" to the team. No one was given the opportunity to apply for these positions, the manager just selected random people. The next time I came into work, I didn't know why a coworker was treating me as if I was inferior until I later found out she was "promoted" -I was asked any time I went anywhere what I was doing, even if I obviously had supplies in my hand. Even when I would say what I had them for, I was second guessed and looked at as if I was an idiot. -Unrealistic expectations of what was needed to prepare food. I wouldn't be given the proper utensils or cookware and it became such a chore to make the food that it took away from the customer service I provided. -No break area. Forced to sit in the food court with customers but were told that we couldn't sit there if there were too many customers. That left outside on the curb or in your car as the only options.
