      Poor Leaders in Our Community

      Pros

      The obvious positives are employment and if you are an entry level employee, there will be room for some advancement.

      Cons

      CSAA has no advancement opportunities for mid level to tenured employees, supervisors do not believe in mentoring their employees but instead use wrongful termination practices targeting long term employees with higher salaries, there are no set standards and practices in writing, no up training provided and the workload is out of control.

      The benefits are the only good thing this company has to offer.

      Cons

      I've been in the work place for over 30 yrs and I have never had such a terrible job experience. Managers have no idea how to manage. Anyone over the age of 50 better be on their toes or you will find yourself out of a job- They're so wrapped up in diversity that they can't see how badly their management team is. When I first started with the company, it was a wonderful place to work and then new management took over and the morale went downhill. Thank goodness I was able to retire out of there.

      Pros

      CSAA has a legacy brand that other companies would kill for. They also have billions of assets to cushion their mistakes.

      Cons

      Unfortunately, the leadership keeps playing "spin the bottle" with their strategies and nobody has the spine to make tough decisions. They blew half a billion dollars on a new system that still isn't working and the only thing saving them is they don't fall under any public disclosure requirements.
