Pros

Good benefits and over all a good company to work for.

Cons

Too many recent layoffs and organizational changes. Also way too many outside consultants, seems like if you want people who truly care about the company they should actually work for the company and not be from the outside.

Pros

Good Benefits, Nice headquarters in Walnut Creek

Cons

When I used to work for a full-time employee for CSAA, it used to be a fun coming in to work. There used to be lots of activities for employees like team building process, picnic, etc.. But now however, there has been too many changes from management team and going too many different meeting locations.

Pros

Ability to make friends and learn about many different business disciplines that provide skills that can be used in other businesses. The insurance and claims functions are to its reputation.

Cons

Too many changes too often. Hard to know who does what. Younger people considered 'better' than those with life experience who paid their dues. The family feel that made them successul is gone and the culture is not what it should be to make the company grow. Employees are afraid for their jobs because of unreasonable goal expectations. Layoffs are too frequent and those let go are good people with lots to offer. Too much money wasted on system efforts that don't ever get implemented and executive salaries are way out of line compared to the low level salaries given to front line employees who represent the company to the public.
