      Strong company, but constant reorganization efforts and growth objectives are internally leaving employees behind.

      Pros

      CSAA is a stable company that has risen from the ground up. The company is a strong advocate for traffic safety and is proactive in it's fight against global warming with it's Green Light Initiative. Most of the companies employees are well tenured and very knowleable with all aspects of the organization.

      Cons

      Finanical compensation for most positions within the company are below market rates, and year-end "neutral" performance reviews from management no longer compensate an employee, although added benefits are above par with a (current) 6% employer 401k match.

      Having 95% of Members ERS calls taken by non AAA outside reps is putting Members at risk, and they just dont care.

      Pros

      co-workers, their care and concern for CSAA and AAA Members A great membershiup organization [but it did not matter or was even taken into accout]

      Cons

      They are throwing out the concern and care for our Members in pursuit of profits, charging space rent in offices for people working at a site they live in it is being drilled down to stupidity or worse, keep dumping $$ into non functioning systems, Client View, memberpoint and so many others systems $$$ Millions and millions down the drain and on the backs of employees being dumped

      Pros

      The brand is something I am very proud of. I am one of those long term employees with nearly 35 years. I have seen this company excel and I have watched it tumble with the president just before Mr Pouliot and with Mr Pouliot. I wish I could also say it was working in California, but that seems to be short lived for more and more of our staff as we makes deals with our AAA clubs and sell our sole to them.

      Cons

      I am a manager and are expected to be available nearly all the time. They talk about taking PTO and a work life balance - it is just that, talk. We continue to move key customer facing positions outside California and wonder why our members are not satisfied. They restructured our defined benefits pension in 2008 that has cost me 6 figures at least when I retire. Many newer employees point to the older folks and say we ar ethe problem, I could not disagree more and folks need to get past this way of thinking.
