Pros

They offer training for the units.

Cons

Sweat shop atmosphere, stressful, low pay. Long overtime then weeks, with less than 35 hrs a week. Shop floor is dusty and the air quality is poor. Limited parking. No vacation time, sick time or compensation for jury duty.

Moving Forward

Somewhat Independent, Matching industry standard 401K as a benefit

Cons

Working as an Engineer I found that it was very difficult to move projects forward. There seemed to be always a hidden agenda that did not want to move the business forward but a status quo was the norm. Middle level management was to concerned about keeping their jobs and problems in the dark on a daily bases. Unfortunately this was a drive from a top down management approach. Additional time and time again unqualified personnel are placed in positions that they are not qualified for and therefore do not have the required skills to be successful to the company or themselves. Finally this is a very low margin business. If you inspire "to be all you can be" this is not the company for you. But if you inspire to complain and moan, play politics this is the place to be

They're upfront and honest with you.

Cons

Lots of heavy lifting, can't have phones while clocked in, can't have food or drinks while clocked in, lots of coworkers who don't speak English (they usually only know Vietnamese)

Thank you for your review on CSAT Solutions. As a whole-unit computer repair provider, our workspace for computer techs is typically within a warehouse setting. Our company, as most others, does enforce a cell phone policy, but we grant you access during break and lunch time, which is typical across the board within any service industry. Given you worked with motherboards and various other parts and equipment, food and drinks are also prohibited from the workspace as well. This is mandated by the client base we serve as well as the company. We pride ourselves on being an Equal Opportunity Employer, therefore we have a very diverse workforce who speak multiple languages and have different cultural backgrounds.
