Pros

The ability to work remotely is the only redeeming factor. Mike Lawrie is an impressive talker but he works for the owners, not the employees. The employees break their backs every day for this company and receive nothing for it. No compensation increases in three years…even for the highest rated employees.

Cons

CSC will chew you up and spit you out. The management cares not about the American employee and sacrifices them daily in favor of cost take-outs that favor replacement of Americans with Indians. Indians are great people, and I love them, but how can you justify laying-off local Americans in favor of importing Indians to take their place. Yes, people, that’s correct. CSC is laying off US based staff and paying to import lower wage Indians to replace them. It’s called foreign on-shoring…and it’s a pathetic, despicable tactic to increase shareholder wealth on the backs of US employees. What will Donald Trump have to say about that!?” Get ready for 65,000 RIF's during the 10 months merger with HPE. CSC started last week with thousands of RIF's.

Pros

There are not a lot of positive things during my 4 years there. My experience was limited to one group, so not sure it was the norm. I learned a lot, mostly on my own, while I worked for CSC.

Cons

The company treated their employees very poorly. Forced overtime (up to 20 additional hours per week), no incentives, no education and little room for advancement. Less than 7% of our team remains with the company, either quit or were let go. There is no long term planning, just short term goals.

Pros

Flexible work environment if remote. Can be great depending on which business unit you're in.

Cons

Company is extremely disorganized. Hard to find even the simplest things needed to complete customer requirements. Many at the top are very self motivated. "Client first" is just a slogan, no truth behind it.
