      Stay away from CSC Consulting

      Pros

      Smart people and good tools. Travel and orther expenses are handed and paid within 30 days. Training was better than other large companies I have worked for in the past. Base yearly pay was better that other consulting companies. However, the cons out numbered the pros.

      Cons

      100 percent travel all over the United States and over seas. Extened over seas stays of over 3 weeks at one time. No real bonus pay. Your base pay is what you get. Senior Leadership very young and lacked experience. Constant turn over of personnel.

      Pros

      Good growth and training opporunities, well regarded in the industry, diverse job opporunities. Longevity is not at all unusual here compared to other companies where 2-3 years is average.

      Cons

      Large firm feel sometimes, some of the leadership in specific verticals only know how to manage in good times, really struggle with down cycle management.

      Sales drove too much of the deal scope to the point that the estimated work had to adjusted to reflect the desired sales amount while risking the ability to deliver a quality product East Coast driven - midwest not respected
