Pros

Some excellent colleagues and some pretty impressive clients... assignments across a wide range of technology.

Cons

Constant cost removal by American owners pushing virtually all work to cheap offshore sites. If your assignment ends you are automatically put at risk until YOU find a new deployment through your contacts. FOUR rounds of redundancies across project and programme management in last 5 years. 650+ now down to 140 remaining. Only (cheap) graduates have an entry it seems... and don't count on long term prospects. Bonus targets always impossible... never paid.

Pros

Flexibility, remote working, great team of people to work with. Plenty of support from team members, people managers and account team when needed

Cons

Politics, company seems to prefer to recruit more senior staff gro outside rather than promote within. Lots tend to leave then rejoin in order to improve salary :(

Tried and tested service outsourcing processes which work very well in general albeit with huge over-head requirements.

Cons

Localized CSC country offices often get infected with negative local ways of working which just makes it less "CSC".
