      Pros

      The company is large and once you figure out how to get information (it is not easy to come by) you can last at least 10 years in the company.

      Cons

      Management does not support their employees and would outsource them to save a buck. Also, they will not hesitate to throw them under the bus to save themselves. Little so they now that will no real software and no hardware the only true asset they have are the employees

      Pros

      Pro: The checks usually come on time. Some of the middle managers bend over backwards to compensate for the idiocy of the upper managers

      Cons

      Con: less concerned with doing the right thing by customer and employee than they are the profitable thing and then are unwilling to compensate for that. No real training opportunities. Timelines are not set on best practices, but on some artificial construct enabled by some slick used-car salesman who throws out the baby with the bathwater because they don't know true costs, either start-up or continuing support.

      Pros

      CSC are happy to give you as much training as you need, I therefore think it is an excellent place for individuals whose career is in its infancy. The sheer breadth of clients means that you could be working across multiple industries; adding lots of experience to your CV.

      Cons

      The capability of senior management seems to be a bit hit and miss. However, there are some extremely talented senior managers and if you're lucky to get one of the good ones you can expect your career to grow significantly. The ability to move from one account to the other is not as easy as they make it seem, you sometimes have to jump through hoops to convince them. Finally, the processes and methods you use to manage projects can change from one account to the other depending on what the client dictates.
