Was hired on as a Receptionist but the company made some changes a year later making it MANDATORY to train in other areas all while NOT offering a single red cent more in pay. You are now required to work multiple jobs instead of the one you were hired for. This is so they can use you in multiple roles so they don't have to hire more employees, using skeleton crews to work each day and run their employees into the ground as fast as they can. The burnout is real with this company.
They are also one of if not the worst company to work for if you are looking for flexibility in your schedule. They require you to have completely open availability even if you are part time or have a second job.
The pay is atrocious starting people off at 15/hr with "raises" ranging from .10 cents to .40 cents a year. Some fast food places pay more, hell CircleK gives their employees a dollar raise each year. The amount of work they want from you does NOT match the pay they want to give you.
The turnover rate is one of the worst I've seen in a company, People generally last 2-3 months before seeing how insanely horrible it is to work there and quit. So those who stick around are constantly working in short staff conditions.
Lastly there is no real upward movement in the company. You can be a trainer but they don't pay you anything extra. If you become a shift lead you get a dollar raise but that's about all you can climb. Management positions are rare, and their quality team is pretty locked in as that is the ONLY job at their centers that is worth working in. At my center those are the only positions that have retained their workers because they generally only do computer work which lets be honest, is the dream. Not saying their job is a piece of cake, but when you compare it to the production side, one can only dream.
