Pros

Their employee donation payment is a nice added bonus. Although it does not make up for their unreasonably low pay. It is easy to move up and be promoted, but you still won't see a fair pay raise.

Cons

The pay is very underwhelming for the work done. At the center I worked at in Wichita KS the management is really lacking. Management was like a gossipy clique and everyone I was hired on with quit. I tried to stick it out and in two months saw even more employees leave before I did.

Pros

Working with people who you start to enjoy. Vacation time rolls over to the next year. Decent benefits and some paid holidays.

Cons

Short staffed, members of management will see the "team" struggling and never leave the office to lift a finger. Company shows favoritism, they post positions and get employees hopes up even though they already know who they want to pick they will interview you and have no intention of you advancing. If you are scheduled to close you don't know what time you'll actually be off of work.

Overworked!

Pros

Benefits were good. Got experience in phlebotomy. Most other employees were great to work with. I worked there 3 years starting as a DST and was trained to do phlebotomy. Good opportunities to advance if you want to kiss butt.

Cons

Rudest and worst customers I ever dealt with at any job. Work long hours with no breaks at times. Very stressful and too low of pay for the amount of work done. They don't follow their own rules a lot of times and enforce other rules that someone with an extreme OCD disorder had to have made up. For example, one of their rules is to have no more than 6 donors for every 1 phlebotomist in a bay and I found myself alone governing up to 18 donors at times. They accept new donors to come in at closing time which makes it so staff sometimes are stuck at the center extra late for just one person. My last job performance rating I received was the highest graded performance I received in the 3 years I worked there but then they proceeded to give me the lowest raise I'd gotten from them yet. I felt like I was part of the misfits of the medical community. Very high turnover rate.
