Pros

It is an ok place to work, especially in this economy. The shift hours are nice, and co-workers are great.

Cons

Micro management is a big problem and the supervisors play favorites. Also poor performers are kept around way to long.

Pros

Lots of opportunities to cross-train, supervise, move up. Some travel opportunities. Sometimes bonuses were awarded after project completion. Lots of senior employees, lots of experience when you have a problem.

Cons

Started hiring a lot of young idiots. Hiring wage went up so that new employees were making more $$ in their 90 day probation than employees who had been there 10-15 years. Older employees, close to retirement didn't care about their job, did the minimum to get by. Working with a depressed socioeconomic group.

You learn to perform venipunctures for free, donation adjusted pay is also nice

Cons

Cruddy equipment, power mongering compliance specialists, ego tripping coworkers, having to constantly deal with the ignorant redneck layer of society.
