I just needed a job

Pros

I have health insurance, get a paycheck, and I’m employed. That’s about all the pros there are.

Cons

Long hours and poor scheduling for lunch coverage I’ve worked every weekend, open - close since I’ve been employed there. All other areas of the center gets a rotated schedule. I’m the only one stuck working all closing shifts and every weekend. I was also told I couldn’t request days off when there clearly have been other people taking days off. Manager “manages” from the office through the one way window and security cameras.

Pros

As of January 2020, family leave is now 6 wks STD (pregnancy related for birth mom, if applicable) and up to 8 weeks paid parental leave (for either parent), plus up to 10 weeks unpaid parental leave (for a max of 26 consecutive weeks) for birth or adoption.

Cons

As company grows, there has been some growing pains push-pull with parent company (CSL), but now that seems to mostly be resolved.
