Pros

I thought the majority of my time as an Speech Language Pathologist would be spent traveling to in-home sessions. But, CSTA gave me the opportunity to do both. I have been able to continue to build upon my skill set.

Cons

The days could be a bit long. But, it is meaningful work.

I gained great experiences working with the children!

Cons

- 3 month unpaid internship; then minimum wage working 40+ hours a week from 7:45am - 5pm. No overtime pay. - It's a competitive environment. Practice Associates tried to constantly one-up each other to supervisors to "look good" - Management preys on the vulnerability of employees by utilizing their superiority - Placed on multiple projects and tasks with varied supervisors; they expect you to juggle it all at once, but they lack communication with each other - High turnover in the company, high-stress environment - Severe lack of respect between management-employee relationships
